Boscombe Surf Reef
Work has commenced on laying the
first layer of the geo textile bags
which will eventually form the surf
reef off Boscombe beach. This was
heralded with much publicity in the
local and national media. It is
hoped the work will be finished in
time for October.

This year we are working with
Bournemouth Town Centre,
Castlepoint and other shopping areas
across Bournemouth on a joint
promotional campaign with 2CR and
the Echo. This is to encourage locals
to stay in Bournemouth, and to
encourage those from outlying areas to
come to Bournemouth. Can you help
to support this with a small donation?
£10 for independent businesses, or
£20 for multiples. We also need
donations of prizes, gifts and discount
vouchers for the prize draw, which
will be distributed by 2CR Thunders
throughout Dorset and Hampshire to
encourage people to shop in
Boscombe. Please contact Carol Butler
on 01202 458982 or Steve Kent on
07502 128 670 so that we know who
is able to support this cross
Bournemouth Advertising.
