from Saturday 24th July a Park and Ride service will be operating every weekend (excluding the week of the Air Show when it will be running every day), between Boscombe Town Centre and Boscombe Pier. The route number will be 500, and the service will be operated by Wilts and Dorset, under contract to Bournemouth Borough Council. All people that park in Hawkwood Road will receive free travel on the service, and there will be one level of fare for other passengers. Adult Single £1.00, Child Single 50p or Unlimited Adult for one day £3.00 and Unlimited Child for one day £3.00. Both the English National Concessionary Fares Scheme and the Area ‘Getting About’ all operator day ticket will be valid on this route. |
