Dance
So, the experts say that dancing is an excellent way to burn calories, boost energy, improve circulation and tone muscles. Whether you’re ballroom dancing, street dancing, belly dancing or any other kind of dancing...in fact you can just stay at home, put a great tune on and dance the night away all by yourself.
Dancing is an exceptional way to relax and have fun, and it can provide some terrific benefits for your health. In fact dancing, as an aerobic exercise, can burn just as many calories as other more ‘traditional’ exercises like brisk walking or riding a bike.
At the Nice ‘n’ Easy Dance Studio in Haviland Road, Boscombe there are many dance classes to choose from for adults and children. And for those wishing to try something a bit different, pop down to St Mary’s Community Centre, Springbourne on a wednesday night. Stella runs a Street Dance class for all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a complete beginner to exercise or you want to include dancing to an existing exercise program, experts say you should approach dancing as you would any other exercise. Be sensible and don’t overdo it!
