Evening lectures are held at 7.30 p.m. on most Tuesdays, with a tea/coffee break for 15 minutes at around 8.45 p.m., finishing by 9.30 p.m., unless otherwise stated.
Field Meetings are usually from 10.30 a.m. to about 3.30 p.m. unless otherwise stated. Please bring your own refreshments as required. Please wear suitable waterproof clothing and footwear. Clothing should be dark in colour when birds and animals are to be observed. No dogs, please.
Occasionally it is necessary to make changes to the programme after it has been published. Any changes will be posted on the notice boards at the Society as well as on the 'Latest News' page of our website.
The views expressed in lectures are those of the speakers. They do not necessarily represent the views of BNSS.
Non-members are welcome to attend all lectures: please make a small donation. Non-members are also welcome to attend field meetings with the prior agreement of the meeting leader: again a small donation is requested.
