La Leche League Breastfeeding help

We hold one meeting a month in the Boscombe area. The group is open to mothers and pregnant women who are breastfeeding or woulld like to breastfeed and there is no charge for attendance. The group has a library of books for loan to members and a wealth of other information on offer.

La Leche League is an international organisation founded over fifty years ago to help and encourage mothers to breastfeed their babies. Leaders are ordinary mums who have enjoyed nursing their children and who have received training to become volunteer breastfeeding counsellors.
