Description
Midwives from Royal Bournemouth Maternity Services hold regular ante natal clinics at the children’s centre. These are linked with local G.P and health services. Your midwife will arrange your appointment with you. Not all antenatal clinics are held a the centre, some
are also held at the G.P surgeries.
After you have had your baby, the midwives may arrange to see you at the centre. This will usually be on the 5th and 10th post natal day, but this will be discussed with you.
Your midwife is one of a team of midwives and she will give you a contact telephone number when you first meet her.
Ante natal classes are also held at the centre. Ask your midwife for details about these. Booking can be made at the centre.
Angie our Breast Feeding counsellor will also be running monthly ante natal Sessions titled 'A Healthy Start for your Baby' with effect from 15 September 2009 from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Please contact the centre for more details. |
