Peace of mind is important to brides. Stromenti's musicians are members of professional guilds which use standard legal contracts and monitor high standards of performance and reliability.

The weddings industry regard Stromenti as the district’s specialists in social function entertainment, (“From Bach to Bacharach” is our motto).  We appear at Rhinefield House, Chewton Glen, Langtry Manor,  Highcliff Castle, Kingston Maurward House and many other established venues.

Last year we entertained the National Trust at their Trafalgar dinner..."Just the right atmosphere"

Other satisfied customers: (available on request)

“Thank you for creating a wonderful atmosphere” (G.M. management consultant, midlands)

“ You helped to make our day very special indeed………..we will definitely recommend you in the future”. (Mrs O, solicitor, Poole)

“We were all thrilled with the atmosphere” (Major and Mrs C, Winchester)

“It all worked superbly……..we thoroughly enjoyed it” (Mr and Mrs K, BBC researcher)

“Thank you so much for your contribution to a very happy day” (Laura., managing consultant, Southampton)

Why use a string quartet?

1) It is like a miniature orchestra which can fit into a small space

2) It makes a romantic sound

3) There was one in the film “Four Weddings and a funeral”

4) It gives the occasion a touch of class

What do we do?

We can entertain guests as they arrive for the ceremony either civil or in the church. Music such as you would hear on Classic FM, Vivaldi “Four Seasons”, Bach concerto for 2 violins, Mozart Eine Kleine Nacht Musik, or for the serious listener Haydn and Bethoven string quartets.

We can play at the ceremony. Pieces like “Arrival of the Queen of Sheba” by Handel or Mendlessohn’s Wedding march for the brides arrival, Elgar “Salut d’Amour” or Pachelbels Canon (this year's world cup theme), for the signing and Joplins Ragtimes, for example, at the departure.

We can entertain guests for the drinks reception and dinner, (a string quartet only needs 4 square meters of space). “Nessun Dorma” (the old world cup theme), Tangos, The Sting, film music, gypsy etc.
