Oasis hosted the annual fundraising event for the second time, Murder in the Manor. The event will take place on 16th May from 7 till 10 pm in Washington DC., at the renowned Mansion which is located in the Dupont Circle. The purpose of the event is to raise funds for celebrating and supporting the 11th Food from the Bar Campaign.
CEO and President of the Capital Area Food Bank, Radha Muthiah said the following: “Hunger is one of our area’s greatest challenges, and also one of the most invisible. Initiatives like Food from the Bar and events like this one play a critical role in shining a light on this issue and helping more of our neighbors receive the food and opportunity they need to thrive. We’re thankful to everyone who’s making this possible.”
Throughout the evening there will be the provision of entertainment & food.
The price of the ticket starts at $75.00. The access for a VIP ticket is $125 and it provides a character assignment along with a strong role in the game and also gives access to the CloudNine Speakeasy, which is veiled behind the mansions of one of the walls. The tickets are available online and there is a strong suggestion to purchase it as early as possible due to limited space availability.
Candace Beck passed the following statement: “I’m thrilled to be part of this fundraising event, not only to help raise money for such an important organization, but also to increase awareness of CAFB among the community. The CAFB services available are so important for those underserved in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia and suffering from hunger. We thank Oasis for hosting the event and partnering with CAFB.”
